William John Wallace
Thank you for the memorial you created for William and his wife Josephine. How did you find the names of his parents?(I already knew their names but what a help it would have been if I had not Known them) Would you know of a way to find the maiden name for his wife Josephine?
This is my husband's family!

I didn't think that our forces were in what is today North Korea so I could be wrong.

Memrials at Blake
Many intended as memorials only and located as close as practical with the loss of landmarks.

Elevzio and Mary DeCarli
Greetings Roanne Lyall: I have posted photographs to both Elevzio's and Mary's memorials, including a lot shot to show their location. Also, both of their memorials now have GPS links, so their location is well-documented. Would you kindly remove their cemetery drawing which shows their plot location? Hopefully, someone from their family will wish to upload photographs into that space. Kind regards, Bridey Light

RE: Death Notice you added
By golly, it does say NY as a birth place. Wrong again. His father was the son of an English immigrant, born in Kerhonkson, NY and moved to the Midwest by 1871, when he married his bride. This was in Ottumwa, IA, where the deceased was born. I missed that error, too. He died of chronic carbon monoxide poisoning as an auto mechanic. They just didn't know to take health precautions/wear protection in those days. Thanks, again.

Death Notice you added
#66324561 - James A Hawkins

Thank you for adding the notice. It is partially incorrect, as notices of today can often be. Yes, he left Nebraska, but not as a child with his parents. He moved with his new wife and older sister (also buried in the same cemetery). Their father had been killed about four years before in a terrible tornado. Soon after they settled, his brother's family moved to the area and brought the widowed mother, and her mother.

I wonder who provided the text? That would be an interesting tidbit that is lost to time. Thank you!

Elvezio DeCarli
Dear Roanne Lyall: After taking grave marker and lot shot photographs for you, I sent you an edit a few weeks ago to link Elvezio DeCarli with his wife, Mary W. Wipfli DeCarli, and edits for transcriptions of their grave markers, plot location and GPS location, so you can add all to their memorials. Please check your Edit tab, which tab is on your member page, directly under your member name. Many members do not yet even know their member Edit tab is even there, since the eye just scans past it amongst the other tabs! Thank you and kind regards, Bridey Light
