|Mark Vernon||Arthur Alonzo Osborn from a Fred Selak relative|
Greetings! I was excited to find Arthur Alonzo Osborn's page here on findagrave. He and Noakes were convicted and executed of the murder of my great great uncle Fred Selak. That was a hair raising story when I first learned about it. The information on your page really is a new one for me, wow! I have sent it as a link to another family member. It is funny how the story of this murder keeps building on itself!
It is good to get a different side of the story. Fred and two of his brothers died violently in Colorado. I descend from the brother who moved to Canada! They were all sons of Bohemian immigrants. Their father, Albert Selak, was a brewer. My grandfather, Albert Selak, was named after him.
Do you happen to know if Arthur's grave is marked?

Bryd on the stone is an error, but difficult to correct.
I would put Byrd, as that is a search criterion.

Do you know if Juan's wife was buried in San Acacia she would have died before 1920 Juanita Oblea Montoya
Thanks for pointing out all the duplicates in Carroll Co., VA. I know what happened. I bulk loaded many cemeteries in Carroll Co., VA. On several occasions I created a new cemetery instead of bulk loading to a cemetery I knew was in the wrong place - sometimes even the wrong county. My fear was people wouldn't find their relatives if they were initially placed in the incorrectly named cemetery - sometimes in the wrong county.
Now that Find A Grave has got it straight and merged these cemeteries my entries are duplicates. I will gladly delete all my duplicates. Don't want to clog up the system. I am interested in people finding their relatives not in the numbers of memorials I manage. Wish I could transfer all of those I am not related to. Would make my daily work easier.
If you find more please let me know.
