|Thomas Spangler||Descendent of Captain Norval Spangler|
I came across your web page on the history of the Wilson's while browsing for more information about my great-great-great uncle Captain Norval Spangler. Norval if you recall was the captain of company E 4th Missouri infantry. John William and Thomas Allen Wilson served in the same company. I think it is awesome to have found someone who's ancestors served in the same company. I really like the web page. Norval was killed May 16th, 1863 at the battle of Champion Hill. I would like to keep in touch. Please message me back if your interested.

Phyllis... thanks for all the work that you do. You posted a photo on the find a grave entry for Alexander Cicero Hart. I have just found that he is the stepdad of my gg grandfather and I am wondering if the woman in the picture is my gg grandmother SJ Bates (Davis) ... please let me know your connection to the photo. thanks again

I saw your photo of Sarah Brownlee Miller's Stone in Oak Plain Cemetery in Union County, Miss.
Can you get me any idea where it is. I have been searching through old cemeteries looking for family in the area from early 19th centery. The Cemetery site on Find A Grave does not have any thing except Union County, MS The cemetery picture shows more stones that the two listed.

I have posted all the headstones that were in the Bethel cemetery. Maybe it was destroyed or maybe she never had one. Sorry

I went to Grandview cemetery May 24, 2008 and last year looking for Rachiel Cypert. I was unable to find her both times. This time I did get a caretaker and went over the cemetery records, Rachiel Cypert is listed has buried in plot 219 in the old part of Grandview cemetery.
Two caretakers went out with me to search for her site, but we were unable to find her. If I go back out to Grandview I will always keep an eye out for her plot ( I know the general area it should be in) Sorry that I could not fill your photo request.
