|Thomas Spangler||Descendent of Captain Norval Spangler|
I came across your web page on the history of the Wilson's while browsing for more information about my great-great-great uncle Captain Norval Spangler. Norval if you recall was the captain of company E 4th Missouri infantry. John William and Thomas Allen Wilson served in the same company. I think it is awesome to have found someone who's ancestors served in the same company. I really like the web page. Norval was killed May 16th, 1863 at the battle of Champion Hill. I would like to keep in touch. Please message me back if your interested.

Phyllis... thanks for all the work that you do. You posted a photo on the find a grave entry for Alexander Cicero Hart. I have just found that he is the stepdad of my gg grandfather and I am wondering if the woman in the picture is my gg grandmother SJ Bates (Davis) ... please let me know your connection to the photo. thanks again

I saw your photo of Sarah Brownlee Miller's Stone in Oak Plain Cemetery in Union County, Miss.
Can you get me any idea where it is. I have been searching through old cemeteries looking for family in the area from early 19th centery. The Cemetery site on Find A Grave does not have any thing except Union County, MS The cemetery picture shows more stones that the two listed.

I have posted all the headstones that were in the Bethel cemetery. Maybe it was destroyed or maybe she never had one. Sorry
