Phyllis, I wanted to thank you for posting pictures on Welton Simmons as well as Berthas's memoral page. I did want to check with you though to see if you are related. I Bertha's great grand daughter from her eldest daughter.
|E K Williamson||Mary Jane Wilson Stewart|
Mary Jane Wilson Stewart was a sister to my great-grandmother, Lutitia Caroline/Carolyn Wilson Stanley. Lutitia died shortly after childbirth and the baby, George Arthur Stanley (my grandfather) was adopted before age 1 by the Swearingin family. I am interested in any information you might have on the Wilson family ancestry and descendants and am willing to share information with you.

|Thomas Spangler||Descendent of Captain Norval Spangler|
I came across your web page on the history of the Wilson's while browsing for more information about my great-great-great uncle Captain Norval Spangler. Norval if you recall was the captain of company E 4th Missouri infantry. John William and Thomas Allen Wilson served in the same company. I think it is awesome to have found someone who's ancestors served in the same company. I really like the web page. Norval was killed May 16th, 1863 at the battle of Champion Hill. I would like to keep in touch. Please message me back if your interested.
