I was born on August 20, 1964, in Washington Hospital, Washington, PA. My parents are Connie Ruth Powers Filby of Washington, PA, and the late Raymond Carl Filby. I have one younger brother, Terry Carl Filby, who lives in Bridgeville, PA, with his wife, Amy Sue Ferringer, and their son, Nathan Larry. I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from Penn State University in May 1986 and, after living in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh for 18 years, moved to Shaker Heights, OH on June 18, 2008. On October 18, 2013, I relocated to South Fayette Township, PA and am currently employed as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter at Holland Mortgage Advisors in Pittsburgh, PA.
