I have been doing genealogy for about 40 years. I started cemetery searching about 30 years ago in Texas then Mississippi mostly for my family names, now I search for others. Sometimes I wonder just why I do this then I remember how I feel when I get a hit on someone in my family. Searching cemeteries is also a history lesson.

i see your flowers on carr memorials. There was a book written by my friends uncle tracing the new York Carr s to illinois and Posey Co Indiana.
The book is full of your ancestors. I have been trying to link this family. Stafford Carr is buried in Posey Co. Just wanted to let you know. Linday

Loved your post! You are too sensitive and compassionate to give up. We need all volunteers the same. And, it does feel good when one finds a loved one!

Thank you for your kindness and compassion in photographing our family grave, Sheryl.
You might also want to add the same photo to the husband, since it is now updated with her information.
Gratitude hugs and love, Wendy

I saw you had claimed my photo request for Howard Rinker on the 3rd. I am wondering if you have not had any luck in finding a gravestone for him.

Thank you very much for posting the markers for my friend Irene and her husband. She was the sweetest lady to everyone and lived to be a Centurion!
