|I am still new to the whole genealogy thing. I have only been doing for about 15 years. I am hoping that my children will continue the search.|
My Paternal Great Grand father and Mother came from Scotland (but met in Illinois) and my Maternal Family is from Connecticut from the 1652ish. I am in the St. Louis, MO area.
I am working on the Stewart, Robertson, Sage and English Families currently.
Photography is relaxing for me...so I take photos and add them. There is cemetery that I am working on that across the street from my children's school. If you want one of my photos, that is fine, it would be nice to get credit.
Just another twig in the tree.

Thank you every so much for the great photo. I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving. Please be careful when your at Calvary. Carry a can of wasp spray in your purse. It works better than mace, if you should need it.

It was an up-right stone sitting on a base.
Not tall maybe about waist high,well my waist Ha! Ha! Which puts it about 3 or 3 1/2 feet tall. I remember is was rectangular, narrow sides, with a curved or arched top. The inscription was on the larger front face of the stone, facing the street. At that time it had been knocked off it's base & my sister & I were able to maneuver it back up on the base. It didn't looked cracked or chip. Just old like they all get with the weather & all. It sure would be nice to figure out what happened to it. Thanks so much for taking the time to look for it. I also remember it being near the road. We didn't have to go to far from the car. Have a safe & enjoyable Thanksgiving. Take care & god bless.

Thanks Kathie for taking these photo's for me. I really appreciate!
|Heather Cottrell||O'Donnell and Ring Famlies|
I want to thank you for all the photos! That plot for the Ring family is very impressive. Wow what a lot of people there. I notice that many passed in 1877. Do you know anything about St. Louis history that year? There must have been an epidemic of some sort. No hurry on anything. I am just so appreciative of people that will go out and do this kind of thing. I do photos for my own area as well. Just a bit of FYI, William C. O'Donnell is actor Chris O'Donnell's father. I thought that was very interesting when I found it out.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving!
