Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am still new to the whole genealogy thing. I have only been doing for about 15 years. I am hoping that my children will continue the search.

My Paternal Great Grand father and Mother came from Scotland (but met in Illinois) and my Maternal Family is from Connecticut from the 1652ish. I am in the St. Louis, MO area.

I am working on the Stewart, Robertson, Sage and English Families currently.

Photography is relaxing for me...so I take photos and add them. There is cemetery that I am working on that across the street from my children's school. If you want one of my photos, that is fine, it would be nice to get credit.
Thank you.

Just another twig in the tree.

RE: patrick maloney
Im glad that this is ending well. Not sure which message you are talking about deleting?? let me know. I can put those items on the site and maybe I will do so. I think the gal? from a library in st louis helped me with the death things and they come up on ancestry which is where I probably got wrong information to start with.
here is one record
Mo death record
e: Patrick J Maloney
Death Date: 7 Oct 1894
Address: 2647 Rutger
Volume: 31
Page: 70
County Library: RDSL 40
Missouri Archive: C 10396
SLGS Rolls: 326

The other that came up was St. Louis Burial index
archodiocese 1700 to 2010

All of this infor came from a gal in the St.Louis library.
I love Mo death records on line I wished Illinois would do that but I like it now that find a grave has gone onto ancestry. that helps a lot
Happy easter

Hi Kathie,

I finally transferred his memorial to the correct St. Marcus Cemetery. Thanks so much for pointing out my error!

Happy Easter!

I went to the tree that I had done for a friend and traced my informatin. I had 2 death certificates, one from the state of Mo and one from St. Louis
I had 1880 census showing a patrick maloney and 3 or 4 other clues. I got obits and information from the St.louis library etc so I thought I was on the right track I didnt catch the ellen in his obit
the wife of my patrick maloney is buried in same name cemetery in white county so not sure if my patrick is buried there? I live over 100 miles from White county so hard to get down there.
anyway I will have to start over and see if I can find patrick in Illinois
Thank you for bring this to my attention. If you had not taken the picture of the stone I might not have know

Well it would not take alot of time if you had done it correctly the first time around but I will search for you since you can not take the time to search your own memorials.

Kathie

The only thing I asked of you on your very first message would you mind using the edit button. Then you came back at me with the above message. These people are not related to me. I take a lot of pictures in diff cmeteries and then try and link and get obits and pictures when Im not working on my own lines. I will try to help as much as I can but its a little confusing right now and I will have to take some time and get it fixed.

I took off the wife I had and put the wife on the stone.
It is going to take me a little while to figure this out and why I did it. Your picture clears up
some of it.

RE: Vizard
Oh my goodness, the caption, plus all your links to Missouri Genealogy databases have given me a treasure trove! Mary is buried with the rest of them, and is my family. Thank you, Kathie!!!

RE: Vizard @ STL Calvary
Thank you so much! Yes, the problem is exactly that I'm trying to place Louis J. Vizard's mother Mary Vizard. I saw a Mary Vizard listed in the cemetery lots but could not tell if that grave was associated with or near Louis and his Henrietta and Marie (his first wife passed away young). It is a quite a stone. Louis was an interesting character, as was Marie: http://www.geniimagazine.com/magicpedia/Louis_Vizard

So, I think you didn't see another stone. Or did you know if Mary is supposed to be buried among them? I'm wondering if the Mary Vizard listed is lying somewhere else and just a coincidence.

But the fact is that I am so grateful to you for taking your time out to visit my family, and help me. :-) I'm trying to get started volunteering here in Ohio.

RE: Malaoney @ Stl Calvary
Pls do not take that tone with me. I worked very hard on these people and if I made a mistake I will correct it. Mistakes do happen
when you have corrections you should always use the edit button because just like today I have done over 25 people not related to me so I dont remember sometime who is what etc I am always open to corrections if the other person is nice

RE: Bridget Madden @ STL Calvary
A mystery!! Thanks for taking the time to help sort it out. I don't recall seeing a Loretta - but I have not researched cousins or other indirect parts of the family yet.

Michael wouldn't be the first one without a headstone.

Thanks!
