RE: Mother of Sarah Lumpkin Saxon
I Concentrated on Luker, McWhorter, Saxon, Machen, and Barnett families when I visited Rock Springs 10 years ago, all families connected to my McWhorter side of the family. I also took pictures of a lot of markers close to these stones.

I did not see a stone for Robert D Lumpkin and Martha C Dameron Lumpkin. If they are unmarked, then that info would be with the Rock Springs Church records, but as far as a headstone or marker, no, I did not see one, sorry.

Napoleon B. Hinkson

Thank you so much for providing the photo of Napoleon's gravesite. I understand Oakwood Cemetery is in the process of ensuring the headstones of each soldier fallen in the Civil War is set at or near each of these stones.

Thank you so much for posting this picture! I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L 22nd NC Infantry. Now I can include Thomas Dorsett, and I'll cite you as the source of the picture.

Thanks again!

RE: Wrong cemetery
When I asked the for the old st francis, they said it was renamed Hillsdale cemetery. I went up to the cemetery and have taken pictures of all the tombstones. Im told that there is gonna be a sign made with the hillsdale cemetery on it. I really dont want to remove mine untill I see proof on the real name of the cemetery, if you noticed there is alot of them listed in the Hillsdale Cemetery.

Caroline, did I already offer to transfer management to you? Sorry, I'm taking classes and working full time right now, I seem to be missing a lot of things. Would you like this transferred?
