RE: Photo
Glad I could help. I passed along the GPS coordinates for this grave so they can be added to the memorial so it will be easier to find in the future.

Yes, I believe he's your man. I can read lieutenant and 60th OVI on the headstone, and the dates go well with your info.

George Antrim
You asked whether George Antrim served with the
60th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. My source did not include that information. I did notice that there is a service star next to his marker in the photo posted on his memorial, which would indicated that he did serve in some capacity.

RE: Ehrlichs
You are very welcome. I am glad to help. Good luck on the rest of your family research. It is contagious! i don't mind managing the sites until family members request a transfer on the rest of the Ehrlich's.

RE: Eicks
Once you get involved with looking for these headstones it becomes and obsession. My wife and I enjoy doing this together. I also found Wilhelm Eick March 15, 1827/March 21, 1910. Are you interested in him. Create a memorial for him and I will post the photo. Also at St. Luke Cemetery there are a lot of Eich's. Are they related.

Sarah Hooker
great grandfather
Hello Volker! I am also the great great granddaughter of David Ayers and have just begun our family tree here. Thank you for your information, as I really don't know much about the Ayers side of our family. When David was married to Mary Jane Chivington (my great great grandmother) they had a daughter named Lillian Ayers, my great grandmother. Lillian married Elmer Elsworth Hooker who had a child, Harry Franklin Hooker, my grandfather. I am the daughter of Harry Vernon Hooker Sr. and Helen (Pat) Plaetschke. That makes us cousins! :-) Looks like David was married 4 times?
Where do you live Volker and I would like to know who your great grandmother was. I am Sarah Elizabeth Hooker (you can google Beth Hooker) and am a singer/songwriter, artist, and real estate broker. I sang professionally for many years and seeing you may be from Germany?...I sang with the German band, "The Scorpians" for a tour in 2004 in California. Lovely people! I was their back up singer who also choreographed the show.
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you!

Williams' Sisters
I was so glad to see that your photo request for the twins, Marion and Ruth, had such specific directions to the location of their graves. But, unfortunately, that area of Mt. Hope Cemetery was just wide-open lawn. Nothing was visible anywhere. I suspect the gravestones are all the flat type, very old and grown over with grass. I will make another try though. I'll call the cemetery next time I'm going (30 miles) and hopefully the groundskeeper will stake the grave for me. I did leave pink flowers at the base of a tree near where the girls presumably are buried. Lori
