I'm creating memorials to honor those who have completed their journeys here. I believe the Find A Grave burial registry helps us to preserve history and is an extremely useful genealogical tool. I especially love to hear from folks who have found a family member or friend through a memorial that I created, that gives real meaning to this work. If you have any corrections or additions to suggest on memorials that I have created, I will take care of them, usually within a week. If you want any records transferred to you that are not in my family, please do not hesitate to ask.

To my friends who have decorated the graves of my precious daughter, Tammy Jo Modglin, and my Mom and Dad, Dorothy Darlene Brown and Carmel Garth Brown, and my sister, Judith Ann "Judy" Brown, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is very much appreciated, as I decorate also for as many as I can, too.

God Bless All Of You...

My bad!
Sorry, Glenda. I switched up the parents for the Bullock's with my edit. I tried to fix it, but I might have made it worse. Let me know. So, sorry.

RE: Mary Yake
Hi Glenda

Thanks for your quick reply and for the info that shows Mary Yake is at Greenwood. That's exactly what I need!

Not sure what you are talking about re Mount Hope and Harvey Yake, but as it doesn't affect what I needed to know about Mary, it doesn't matter. lol.

Thanks again! :)

Ruth Healy Shepard
I am writing about your memorial (125943536 ) for Ruth Healy Shepard
You state, "44483209 Charles Frederick Shepard has a biography at the following link with Ruth as his second wife."
As I read the paragraph that mentions Ruth Healy Shepard

"After marriage Mr. Shepard settled on land in Kendall Township, where he resided until 1908, when he retired to Yorkville, but he owns 325 acres in Kendall County, which is as finely improved as any property in this part of the State, and also his handsome home in Yorkville. He and his wife together own 160 acres of land in Kossuth County, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Shepard have one son, *Edward A.*, born February I8. 1885. On August 5. 1908, he married *Ruth L. Healy* of Aurora, and they have one son. David W., born July 10, 1911. Charles F. Shepard and his son are both members of the Masonic fraternity, Kendall Lodge No. 471, A. F. & A. M. Mrs. Shepard is a member of the Woman's Club of Yorkville. They all are members of the Congregational Church of Yorkville. and are prominent in it as they are socially, being recognized as being among the very best people of Kendall County."

I do not see "Ruth as his second wife."
Sorry if I am missing something.
