John W Shankle
Please disregard my question regarding John W Shankle. I have found that John W and John N Shankle were both born in Henry or Weakley Counties of TN in the same year about 6 months apart and are not the same person. John N Shankle's parents were Wilson & Sarah Shankle. The only spouse I have found for him was Margaret Morris, d/o Rev. Carroll Morris, and I have found no records for either of them past the year 1900.

Valentine and Wilson may have been brothers or cousin, since they were found in the same areas of TN, early on, but no prove of this.

John W. Shankle
I have a marriage of John N Shankle to Margaret A. Morris, (d/o Rev. Carroll Morris & Mary "Polly Fry in my family tree on Ancestry). This took place 17 Aug 1862 in Johnson County, Illinois--they are found with children on 1870-1900 Census records, and then she passed away sometime after that, either in KY or TN. He then married "Motheral" about 1908, which would make her his 5th wife. Do you think I have the right John Shankle on this record?

Rudloph Fitzhugh Lybrand
Bob,
Are you related to Rudloph Lybrand, that passed away 23 Mar 1969 and is buried in Grapevine Cemetery? Did He first marry Dovie E Wilson, on the 24th of Dec 1914 in Grant County, before he married Cloie Funderburg 21 Aug 1919.

Rudloph is not related to me but I am researching Dovie E Wilson, daughter of Horace Montgomery Wilson and Catherine Ward Wilson.

Thanks in advance.

RE: New Hope Cemetery
Bob,

Thanks for checking the memorials. I would still like to know if this cemetery is about 5 miles NE of Gleason off Highway 190. My ancestors are reported to be buried at the New Hope Cemetery at that location, and I just want to be sure this is the correct New Hope before I post memorials for them. Thank you.

New Hope Cemetery
You posted pictures of New Hope Cemetery, Gleason, Weakley County, Tennessee. Is this cemetery about 5 miles NE of Gleason off Highway 190? I am looking for my second great grandparents William C. Whitworth (1826-1901) and his wife Martha Ann (Henley) Whitworth (1831-1905) who are reported to be buried there. Thank you.

Stafford
I was just wondering if/how you are related to Joe Norris Stafford. He is my maternal grandfather. I noticed that you also had posted a memorial for my late cousin with pictures. Since then it has been deleted. Could you add those pictures to the existing memorial? Thanks.-Adrianne

Larry C Cochran
I checked today at Monmouth Memorial Park about the burial site for Larry C Cochran. Although he was cremated here, his ashed are not interred here. According to their records, they were returned to the funeral home.
