The reason I started doing genealogy 30+ years ago is that I only knew six people in my family, not counting my brothers and sisters (which I still am looking for one of my sisters). Now, thanks to the help of many other researchers, census records, Ancestry.com, Find A Grave and years of searching and tree climbing I have several thousand names of individuals that I can now call 'family'.
