Great Grandson of William Wilber Stratton who was the 2nd child and oldest Son of Ezra Millard Stratton (the one born in 1833).

Also the Great Grandson of James T. Reynolds, father of my maternal Grandfather Oscar "O.C." Reynolds. I am still looking for James' burial location and any ancestral information.

"Edits" tab on home page
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

Velma Young
Hello, My name is Phyllis Zegers. I see from your Find-A-Grave posts that you are somewhat related to Flora (Young) Stratton, the sister of Velma Young. I have recently researched Velma's history and made additions to her Find-A-Grave memorial (86802123) and links to her parents, Maurice and Orrel Young. I thought you might be interested in Velma's history if you don't already have that information. I have an interest in those like Velma who died at the Oregon State Institutions and whose cremains were never taken by the family. My hope is to let relatives know where the cremains are now in case they would like to claim them. I though you might know some of Velma's living relatives.

Shannon Cemetery
Hi. I saw where you posted those buried in Shannon Cemetery, Bluffton, Ohio. Do you know much about that cemetery? Do you live near Bluffton? The town of Bluffton will be celebrating susquentennial (150 yrs) next year and I am helping to find information about the Shannon Cemetery and the Old Bluffton Cemetery. Bluffton was originally the town of Shannon. Thanks.

Ezra Stratton
Hello,

I see a letter from Dave who says he is a GG-Grandson of Ezra. I would like to add my name to the record as a GG-Grandson of Ezra. One of Ezra's children was my Grandfather Thomas. Thomas had three children with Bessie Spitznoggle. Those three children were named: Elwood, Clarence, and my Father Glen.I have a Sister Pamela who found this site a few days ago. My Sister and I were planning a trip to Frank Able Cemetary and the general area around Portland and Woodland Washington ,where my Father grew up, to search for the locations of our distant relatives. I was happy to find this site and information thereby saving us the time and effort. I live North of Detroit. My sister Lives just outside of Washington DC. It was quite a shock to see a picture of Ezra. I see some erie but minor resemblences to him in my own face. I have pictures of Glen, Elwood, Clarence, Thomas and Bessie if anyone is interested and some limited historical information. I would really like to know where the picture of Ezra came from and I would like very much to read everything about our family history.

Ezra Stratton
Hello,

Ezra Stratton was my g-g-grandfather by way of his son James Allison Stratton (my g-grandfather), and Elsie L. {Stratton} Johnson (my grandmother). I came across your photos of Ezra as well as the one of a "Melville Stratton" at his grave site in Vancouver, WA. I am interested in any information and/or photos of this family line, both after and prior to Ezra Stratton that you are willing to share. A home built by James is being restored and revitalized and I would like to help them preserve our heritage as well as documenting as much as possible of our family's history.

Please feel free to email me at my gmail address of bootsnspurs. (email address intentionally broken up to help avoid spam.)

Thanks in advance.

Dave
