|Frank Hampton||Ruby Lumpkin photo request|
I made a trip to Daviess County Sunday with the express purpose of getting the three requested photos in Jamesport Memorial Cemetery.
It was hot and I felt I covered the entire cemetery pretty well and did not find any of the three.
I did find a large stone with the name Lunpkin on it and an area around it of maybe 15 to 20 square feet, but only one stone in that area that being the one for Elinor Lumpkin 1848-1919.
I did find another Lumpkin stone about 40 feet away, a small upright stone about three feet high and very hard to read and it was for Mewette Lumpkin Died May, 1891, 6Y 2M. I thought I took a photo of it along with about another 75 I took, but I either deleted it or just plain forgot to photograph it. I was pretty sure of everything on the stone except the first letter of her name "M". I've never seen the name Mewette before.
Ruby may be there and I just missed it since I see there is a Lafayette Lumpkin buried there and I did not see it.
Sorry I couldn't complete the request, but I did get some better photos of some of the stones there than were already posted and found a few new persons to add to the cemetery, so it wasn't a completely wasted trip.

I did a light cleaning of her stone with water and a soft brush and use a computer program to determine the date of birth when the death date is given and the years, months and days are given. If you disagree with this date feel free to make the correction if needed.
Been trying to get some of the stones cleaned & photographed in Old Pilot Grove Cemetery. Some are almost unreadable and several are just plain missing.
|Betty Hunter- Harrison||Isabella Starky|
I saw where you have been to the cemetery that Isabella is buried in. There is no memorial on Find A Grave for her. Would you please put one on for her and add her headstone. Thanks.

I am so sorry, this is my mistake. I didn't realize that Harvey Leonard Bray was married before he married my Aunt Maude Bomberger.
I hope you will forgive me. I didn't mean to be rude, It was totally my mistake please forgive me.
|Rowene Fairchild||Wrong Husband on Mary "Marie Mannschrek Bray|
Mary "Marie" Mannschrek's husband was Zolman Bray
their son was Harvey Leonard Bray and he married my aunt Maude Marie Bomberger.
Please correct this information. Thank you, Rowene Dunnihoo Fairchild.
|Frank Hampton||Tressia May Landes #132021599|
I am a relative to Martha E. Kemp Landes.
Her mother was Ellen Hays #12098248 and that's on my mother's side.
I'm going to try and take photos of all the grave stones at Old Pilot Grove Cemetery hopefully this fall.
I'm trying to find out why on Find A Grave Tressia's last name is given as Troxel. She would have been just 17 1/2 years old and I can't find any info about a marriage. Troxel may be on her tombstone
and that would explain it being listed that way on Find A Grave.
If you can help in any way it would be appreciated.
