It was very sad to see how many headstones have been completely destroyed by either vandalism or just worn by time.

I have taken some photos of ones that I did not think would make it much longer.

I hope these prove useful.

My family are the Anderson's, Coke's, Mattingly's, Branigan's, Coley's, and more... :)

(I don't care if a family member wants to save a headstone photo to their ancestry tree, personal pages, print a family tree, etc. But, I do not give permission to other websites to use these photos or the information I have collected - they were added for F.A.G. which provides a FREE service to preserve their history before they are lost.)

Thank you for pointing that out. I guess I had the oil wells fixed in my mind and wanted to put it next to them. I recall there being one a stones throw from the cemetery, but can't make it out in the satellite image. Check the map now and see if it is more accurate.

I see you have an entry for a W S Harvey. I was wondering if you have anything on him. My great great great grandfather was William Sparkman Harvey. He was born on 17 Jan 1785 and died in 1853-58 in White County, IL.
