|Family is very important to me, but I didn't become interested in my ancestors until several years ago, while looking through some very old family photos. Luckily for me, my mom and dad had done a lot of genealogy research years ago (and before the internet!), so I had a good head start. Most of my family's origins center around Macon, GA, Washington, DC, and Prince Georges County, VA. Family names that my husband and I are researching are: McDonald, Nolte, Coakley, Davis, Lee, and Montgomery. |
I am very grateful to the wonderful folks who have answered my requests for photos, and I am happy to help with photo requests when possible.

|Harriett Foster||Contact me|
I have tons on the MAY/DAVIS line and am more than willing to compare notes.
Please link Bessie with her parents. I can't link parents to children.
|Harriett Foster||Bessie Belle's parents|
Check the Davis-Scott Cemetery in Macon, Bibb Co. GA for David S. DAVIS and Laura Mitchell McGEE. I believe they are Bessie's parents.
Contact me for more info.

I noticed you had created memorials for this cemetery; however, I can't seem to locate any headstones that you listed. We went to the cemetery yesterday, but could not find the headstone for Sara Jane McGee for your photo request. (see photo request)
Also, we searched the entire cemetery and could find no grave for a William McGee or William J. McGee you have listed (another photo request)
The Cemetery (Salem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery) we went to was located on Salem Church road out in Roberta. . .this is the correct cemetery, right?
|Stephen Barneby||Barnabys and Browns|
Thanks very much for taking the time to look in the Baird Cemetery for my ancestors. It looks like someone has already photographed infant Elvira Brown's stone, as well as her father, John. Sorry to send you on a wild-goose-chase for the Barnabys. I suspect they were buried in that cemetery, but that their stones no longer exist.
This is a very nice community service that you have volunteered for, and one that I appreciate a great deal. Thanks for your time and effort.
|Mary Santanen||William T. Harris|
There is no Harris listed in Riverside Natl Cemetery. If you go to www.va.gov there is a nation wide grave locator. I put in a William Harris. I don't know if this is your William.
Caverton National Cemetery

I hope it is your William. I tried. Thanks Mary S.
