Dear Find A Grave friends,|
I wish to thank all our Find A Grave Friends for all there love and support, the beautiful memorials that they place on our family's pages and for taking the time to visit.
*******Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015****
Sending much love and joy to you and your family.
We lost our beloved dog on 31 Aug 2014.
It's like losing a child.
We are touched by the Generosity and Great Compassion of our FAG Friends
for sponsoring our loved ones Memorials.
I wish to express my thanks and appreciation for the beautiful images you place on my memorials.
They are really gorgeous and I admire your lovely icons. They are uplifting and beautiful.
I am very sure that the holy spirits of our loved ones gleam a little bit more everytime they receive our loving thoughts.
~ I WISH TO THANK ALL THE FINDAGRAVE VISITORS WHO PLACE GIFTS ON MY HUSBAND ROBERTO'S GRAVE. ~
I am unable to visit your pages individually to say thank you, but you are precious to me and my family.
Thank you again for coming to visit Roberto.
YOur genenrous love and respect touches us in a very real way. We have still not recovered from our loss and our sorrow is deep and lasting. There are good days and there are days when the heart mourns like that first moment.
The one thing which remains with me when I visit the grave of a person, be it in person or via this amazing website is the secrets that go with that person to their grave. Some things we will never know, and we can no longer ask.....every grave holds a thousand unanswered questions. We are left behind by the personal effects of a loved one who has passed on, their material world, however past that, we can only wonder...or imagine, or fabricate explanations. A grave is a mysterious place to visit with it's own fascination. At the same time, it is the one reality after being born, to be dead is a certainty like no other. A life changing certainty for those left behind to look and wonder...what happened...and contemplate for a long long time.
THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God would call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
If you have a moment please visit our dear friend Pvt Reginald James Pashley, who died at age 20 in the First World War.
We can never forget this brave young man. Forever in our hearts they will remain. A life never lived.
Please Visit *** If you have some time ***
Pvt Reginald James Pashley

|Frank R. Adamski||Direct link to someone's page|
I happened to notice that you were asking how to create a direct link to someone's Find A Grave page that you could put it on your contributor page. Specifically, you were asking about doing it for Lieutentant Joseph Alfred Blanchard.
If you want to put a link to his page using his name on your contributor page open up the edit feature on your contributor page and copy and paste in this entire sequence of code:
Lieutentant Joseph Alfred Blanchard
Doing that will insert his name as an internet link so people can click on it and they will go directly to his page.
If you have any questions, you can send me an email, or, do it through Facebook.
God Bless Roberto!
Best regards, Frank

This is not very hard, but you need a credit card or debit card to do this. Go to LT Blanchard's Memorial, and there will be a heart on the left side with Sponsor this Memorial verbage. Click on it, and it will take you to a page to sponsor the memorial. Fill in your credit card or debit card data and punch the enter button. It will notify you of success and the advertisements will disappear. Hope this helps.

Hi Catherine. Nice to hear from you. How are you?
|Operation:PictureMe||RE: Reginald Pashley|
I'm Canadian and I look for photos of Canadian's who were KIA. I'm working on a project that I call Operation Picture Me and so far I have sent in over 20,00 photos/newspaper clippings. (read my bio) I was reading the comment you left Wouter van Dijken so I googled Reginald's name and found the website.
|Operation:PictureMe||RE: REGINALD PASHLEY|
I found it on this site.
