|Dawayne M. Bailey||Cora Edith Staten|
My brothers and sisters grew up in Manhattan, KS - near Ogden, KS. We have hardly known much about our paternal family.
Our grandfather Floyd E. Bailey left Ogden, KS for California in 1930 after his wife died right before her 29th birthday.
He left our father who was only 2 years old at the time with our grandmother's brother, Bill Staten.
Her name is Cora Edith Staten. We always knew she was buried somewhere in Mishawaka because the Staten and Bailey families have roots there.
This is a true revelation after being in the dark for decades. We've never seen her grave or knew the exact cemetery - until now - thanks to you for posting this amazing photo of her headstone.
I have a few questions - one is do you know if there are any other Staten graves near Cora's - also, at the bottom of the headstone it says "Of Ogden Kansas".
Is that part of the actual headstone or was it added in Photoshop to the jpeg? Thank you again for your help!!

|Jim Parrish||RE: Ralph Troyer|
I guess I'm not making my self clear.
I'm not sure if they are connected or not. That is what I'm trying to determine.
William R. Robertson's headplate is just below the headplate of Ralph W. & L. Kathryn Troyer.
and I would like to know if there is a connection.
William in my 1st cousin and I have a photo of the headplates, (taken by a friend) I could send into to you via e-mail so you could see what I'm referring to.
William was married to Margie "nee" Rahm, so I don't understand why he would be buried in the Troyer plot.
|Jim Parrish||RE: Ralph W. Troyer.|
I was wondering if you would have any information that would advise how Ralph W. Troyer is connected to William R. Robertson?
William R. Robertson is buried under the headstone of Ralph W. & L. Kathryn Troyer.
William is my 1st cousin and I knew of only one wife that he was married to and that would be Margie Rahm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
