This is just another way that working together we can accomplish a great deal in documenting the history of many.
Special thanks to a number of people who have contributed a great deal of information and/or pictures that I've posted to memorials in Wisconsin; Kentucky; and Ron and Ann Miller: Hillside Cemetery, North Loup, Valley, Nebraska. I requested and was given permission by Ron and Ann to add specific pictures from their Gallery.
Whenever I visit graves online, I like to leave a flower so that friends and family of the deceased will know that their loved one was thought of that day. Most of these people are not related to me in any way.

 | RE: Sheila M Schaum You are very welcome. I agree with you, a memorial is not complete without the photo. Glad I could be of help to you. ChrisAdded by Macso on May 10, 2013 4:42 PM | | | Larry Leighton

 | RE: Hoff, Henry and Evlyn Twila - they feel like family, but I am not related to them. I grew up in the old neighborhood of Germans from Russia, both sets of my grandparents and my German relatives all came from Kolb, Russia. I knew many of the people and I am related to many of them. My son and I decided to research the neighborhood and we have been doing this now for almost 14 years. They are my family even if not related.
No, you don't need to transfer them. Maybe a relative will find them one day. Until then, they are in good care with you...JudiAdded by Yeschke on Mar 18, 2013 8:19 AM | | | Bud Hummel
 | RE: Wilton W. Jennings I talked to the caretaker. He said less people are getting stones. He said only his uncle has a stone in his family. He is about 55, but his parents do not have stones and he wants to put one theirs, but the other siblings do not care. He is saving up the money to buy it himself. | | | | [View all messages...] |
