My particular areas of interest are Berks, Montgomery, Schuylkill, and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania.|
I do not acknowledge a name in a cemetery with a name only, blank dates and no other means of identification.
Do not request a middle name be added unless it appears in a obituary/death/burial/birth record/tombstone. Mother's last names are seldom given as a middle name at baptism.
My Patriots of the Revolution include:
George Herbst 1712, George Dry 1725, Johannes Koch 1725, Daniel Guldin 1735, Johann Christian Scheidt 1736, Michael DeLong 1739, Bernhard Eitel 1745, Michael Krebs 1744, Henrich Knauss 1746, John De Turck 1747, Marmaduke Von Buskirk 1750, John Grant 1754, Sebastian Koch 1757

|Kay||Joseph Lybrand Stichter|
Thanks for all the edits on the Stichter family, but I have a question. I was reading his obituary and his birth was kinda unclear does it say 1813 or 1818 because you have his mom (Elizabeth) dying in 1815. I believe 1815 is right for Elizabeth because Peter Stichter his father and his step daughter (Catharine Kast Ritter) went to court for custody of the 5 other girls Elizbeth had with Jacob Kast.

|Karen Bloom||RE: Jacob Nevling|
Neil, thats okay, just trying to make sure its the One we are searching for and not another Jacob. We know he died in 1777. All the lady at cemetery, did was say a Jacob Nevling buried there, she could give me no date or year. Sometime we will have to go up and check the place out, to see what's on the marker, plaque, or stone. The lady told me that day, had a couple funerals, and it was a big cemetery, did not have time to go look. I thought since one time you had his name posted, you saw the plaque. We do have this cemetery as a maybe. Not adding on find a grave anything till we are sure.Thanks

Neil, you're confusing Gertrude Margaret Dauth, Charles Dauth's grandaughter, with Gertrude Mechnich Dauth, his wife. Their memorials are correct.
|Karen Bloom||RE: Jacob Nevling|
Jacob died in the Rev War , some has born 1751, but does have a son John Adam Nevling. His last name spelled so many ways, Neevling, Niebling,Neveling, Neibling, Nubling, etc. Some has He died at Brandywine, others Germantown. But in widows papers has Chestnut Hill.I called the cemetery mnths back all they could give me was a name Jacob Nevling buried there, no dates. also a John Wesey Nevling in same cemetery, but another Nevling. Thanks

|Judy MUTH Massarelli||RE: Pvt Allen K Snyder|
Aaaah, thank you so much. Hmmm, until they get merged, I'll keep as is as well for clarification. I'll update my bios to reflect both cemeteries. Thanks again. I believe ancestry.com owns Findagrave now.

Neil, I uploaded photos to some of your memorials. William B Sheidy, buried at Hain's Cemetery. James E Sheidy, buried at Bern Cemetery. Jacob Scheidy, number 53225138 buried at Saint Thomas in Bernville. Thomas Scheidy, buried at Saint Thomas in Bernville.
|Judy MUTH Massarelli||Pvt Allen K Snyder|
Neil, I've been researching the "SNYDER" family and Pvt Allen K Snyder in West Lawn (Berks) Memorial Cemetery is incorrect. He is buried in the Wyomissing Hills Mausoleum. There are a few errors in the West Lawn burials on Findagrave regarding the Snyder's. This memorial should be deleted from West Lawn. Judy
