I have been "gravestomping" for as long as I can remember. Just recently, however, with the purchase of a digital camera, was I able to actually get pictures of my travels. Hopefully I will be able to contribute greatly to this web site, as soon as I get a scanner, since my grandmother collected about 300pages of pictures of veteran's bios from the newspaper circa World War II. I will be able to do some grave hunting hopefully within the next few months as well.
FYI: While at the library, I was looking thru "For Sale" books, as the library, recently had a Friend's Of The Library, booksale. I ran across A slim paperback titled, "Murdered By Human Wolves", author was Steven E. Wedel. I didn't buy the book, but made a note of the name of Katherine Ann Cross. She was born 1899, died 1917 in Konawa, Oklahoma, Seminole County. Being an amateur sleuth,I was intrigued and today, looked up her memorial on Find A Grave, I suppose you have done further research on her parents/family on Ancestry or Census records? I am curious if there is any more info on her life that you might have found. I entered her name into a search engine but found nothing. That doesn't mean that there isn't anything in there, it is perhaps how I worded the phrase (?). Thanks for making a memorial for her. She had a rather sad, brief life.
