Do not stand at my grave and weep.|
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the gnat on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
I am the quiet hummingbird in circling flight.
I am the mouse that stirs at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
MISS ME BUT LET ME GO
When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little~But not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss Me~But let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It's all a part of the master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
So when you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friend we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds,
Miss me~But let me go.
**Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, forever dear.**

Thanks for asking your cousin about the Brown County SD cemeteries. I am still not certain that St. Paul is West Hanson.
See this website:
It indicates a St. John's is in West Hanson township. Is this cemetery even documented on Find a Grave?
Hi, I was wondering if I might copy your poems, and also who is the author?
They are lovely. Thanks for sharing, Roxanne

Thanks, any help will be appreciated in figuring out where West Hanson Cemetery, Brown County SD is.

I see you have submitted the photograph of St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Would you photograph & post the tombstone pictures of Unknown Mielke's listed on this cemetery, to help identify them? --when the snow is gone !!!
I am seeking West Hanson Cemetery, a country cemetery in Brown County SD. Wondering if this St. Paul Cemetery is also known as West Hanson? I am seeking the grave of Frank (1848-1923) and Agnes Dobberphuhl (1855-1897) at West Hanson Cemetery, Brown County, SD. They would be the parents of
John W. Dobberpfuhl
Minnie Dobberpfuhl Mielke
Laura Dobberpfuhl Lorenz
Lena Dobberpfuhl Meister
Sara Dobberpfuhl Mielke
I am wondering if the unknown Mielke graves are the Dobberpfuhl daughters.
I have added George's parents to his site for you. Happy to do so!

|Leta (Folks) Ferrell||Re John Taylor|
Cristy, I wanted to thank you for the transfer for Johns' Memorial. It's greatly appreciated :)
|BrideyLight||RE: Frederick Davis|
Dear Cristy: www.familysearch.org (Latter-Day Saints site) should have a record for Frederick A. Davis's birth/death, which may also list his mother's maiden surname and his father's surname. Someone has linked Mary Ann as his mother, my assumption was that since she was married to Davis that he might have been Frederick's father. But I have not confirmed any of that by searching at familysearch. ~ BL

Dear Christy: Thank you for your offer to transfer her to me, but I am not related. May I continue to send you edits as I discover more information? Hope so, because I have an edit already!
To answer your question on the Edits tab -- This is a relatively new item within FindAGrave. To place an edit: 1) Go to the memorial you have an edit for;
2) Click on the Edit tab (upper right corner) on that memorial's page;
3) You will then see the revised list of items you can select to edit from there;
4) Once you have typed the edit items into the screen, send it;
5) You will receive a gray, message bar at the top of the memorial you were working on -- it is a brief message -- telling you your edit is being reviewed and you will receive an email message once it has been accepted.
I recommend going to one of the memorial pages you have created and testing this process, so you can see what goes where and how it all functions. Ten minutes spent and a ton learned! Kind regards, Bridey Light
|Jay Wright||RE: Barnes|
You're welcome, Cristy. Thanks for the kind offer to transfer, but I'm not related, so I'm happy to leave the Barnes memorial in your capable hands.
|Adele Sullivan||Charles Albert Barnes|
That was quick!
