I live in the Fayette County Il. area and weather permitting can take cemetery photos at request. If you are a family member or researcher you may use them for your trees. In turn please pay it forward by doing the same kindness for another if you can. Sharing just a small story, working down at the tail of Fayette co. and I saw my first red fox, what a blessing after it finally saw me and ran toward the woods it turned to look at me and pose for a photo.
I think it is wonderful that Find a Grave and Ancestry have teamed up and these links connect with searches. Cemetery records are a great source that we put on the memorials that cannot be found on Ancestry. I get joy out of finding members of families that don't have any records. I do this from the heart and please feel free to use my stone photos for your trees.
Nellie Alfrey Thank you so much for photographing the 1st wife of Robert Gibbs Alfrey. It was a great relief to find where she was buried and now to have a photo of her stone. Your time and effort is very appreciated.
Causey Cemetary location I will be visiting central Illinois next month and was hoping to visit the Causey cemetery. However, I have not had much luck in finding it on a map. Could you possibly provide directions? I will be in the Decatur area and visiting cemeteries from my mothers family. I would like to add the Causeys to that trip. R Robison, Gaston SC
RE: Eugen Aaron Kurtz Gladyce Kurtz was my high school speech teach at Alamo Heights High in San Antonio,TX. I liked her very much. Her only child, Eugene, was adopted. He died recently, I added him on a memorial the other day. I have looked every possible location for info on her. I can think to to is call her family, grandchildren. They are listed on Obit for Gene in Austin. His Obit is on the internet.
