DALE E. CAPLIN'S OWN SUBMITTED AUTOBIOGRAPHY NOW FOLLOWS.
I was hatched in 1943. I was granted several degrees through 1985 and was involved in the music business from 1978 through 1985 and often provided Baldwin and Steinway concert grand pianos as well as Allen Organs for international artists performing in the Detroit, Michigan concert stages, but, due to family health issues, our whole family moved to Arizona in 1985 where I entered the mortuary field as a Funeral Director which was something that I always wanted to do since I was a teenager. I was also organist at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson for five years. I have been active in the American Theatre Organ Society and the American Guild of Organists. I retired from the funeral business to the Seattle, Washington area in 2007 and stayed there for six months, but the personal climate was not for me. I moved to Auburndale, Florida for a year, but I decided to return to Tucson, Arizona. Family history and helping others to find relatives are both very special to me. My sister, Lorraine Gene Caplin (now deceased with a memorial site on Find A Grave) was our original family historian. My younger brother, Larry L. Caplin, is alive and well and living in Bellevue, Washington and is also into Find A Grave (he got me started "Graving") which is time consuming, but although there are difficult times dealing with picture "input", it is well worth the time spent. I am always looking for information about James Capling (with the added "g") who died in Traverse City, Michigan in 1914.
Thanks for looking. [REST IN PEACE DALE/JTN]

Thank you for the transfer, I will watch over her and transfer to a family when they request. Sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I have seen some of his memorials at South Lawn. If you need someone to care for his memorials in Tucson, please consider me when the time comes.

|Jennifer Taylor Nichols||Transfer of Dale Caplin's FAG Memorials|
I am assisting Dale's family in the transfer of all of his Find A Grave memorials. If I have transferred a memorial to you in ERROR please, just simply return it to Dale's account. It was not deliberate. I just have been working very late trying to reassign memorials to those family who have already linked memorials to the ones Dale had. I suspect I will make some errors in transfers - please let me know.
Dale contributed 2798 memorials. The brunt of them are situated in UTAH, Arizona and Washington. The Florida ones almost all transferred. Jean 47375588 and I have divided them up. Please let me know if there are any other groups you'd be willing to maintain. Doug Taylor 47011209 has agreed to take ALL of Dale's Milford UTAH. I cannot thank you all enough and I know Dale's family appreciates it! JTN

|Larry Caplin||Memorial for Dale Caplin|
For those who may not know, Dale passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack at his home in Tucson, Arizona, on Valentine's Day, February 1, 2015. He was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Santa Rita Mountains that he loved so dearly. Find a Grave was one of his many passions, and he created two thousand and eight hundred memorial sites. Nice work Dale. Thanks for it all. Please refer questions or requests to me. Larry Caplin (Brother)Member number 46878189.

Just wanted to let you know that the photo of "Old Calvary Catholic Cemetery" that you put on some of the memorials at Calvary Kawkawlin is the wrong photo. This photo is for Old Calvary Cemetery in Midland.
|t. stephens||Diogi K-9 Officer|
You posted a grave photo of K-9 officer "Diogi" on his handler Vernon Williams memorial page (15920813). Diogi's memorial page is 16207864. Would you please post that marker photo to his memorial page? Also, was Diogi's marker located at the same cemetery as his partner and handler?
