|I was rasied mostly in Putnam and Montgomery co., Indiana, most of my ancestors as far back as 1840 lived not five miles from where I lived, in Putnam Co. Indiana. My Mother still lives in that same area. Other ancestors of mine lived in the Hendricks Co, Indiana area. |
I have been researching both family and professional genealogy for almost 30 years. I have published several genealogy books and sell them to Libraries and individuals all over the US. What started out to be a trip or two with my sister in law, became my passion. Cemeteries seems to be on the top of my passion. I enjoy walking the cemeteries, it is just so serene. In my lifetime I have come across some really exciting and interesting things. One of the BEST things I have found without even looking was, I found a half brother. I was 52 years old when I found out about him, what a BLESSING that has been. We have been together now about 10 years and have shared so many memories. It is like we have know each other forever. I lived in Indiana, he lived in Kentucky. We moved to Kentucky right after I met him, so now we are 2 hours away from each other.
My surnames that I am researching are LAMB,EGGERS,CASE,DAVIS,Morphew,MCCLOUD,MERRITT

I was wondering if you have a relation to Rosetta (57770565)? She is my great aunt.

Notice your name is Walker and you have a picture of David Walker's tombstone.
I am desperately searching this David Walker's beginning.
I know he is connected to My Walker family but am having trouble of one of his would-be relatives. He doesn't believe he is connected and we need definitive proof.
I know this is NOT a genealogy website, but would you please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let's talk.
If you ARE not connected to that family, I am sorry to bother you.

You are welcome but I now see that this stone is listed under Mary M. Moreland and Doyne Priest took the picture 3/23/2008. Velma Dalton created the page and the #8098541 is given. So you can feel free to use it and delete my picture all together. Thanks. [Edit]

You are very welcome. I thought the temp was going to be better. Fooled me. It did feel good to get out and do this. Had a great day and filled quite a few requests.

Hi Marilyn "Walker"
Would you or your family happen to be descendants' of Richard Walker and his parents, Robert and Mary Jones Walker? I am a descendent of Robert & Mary Jones Walker. My great grandfather, Jasper Walker was born in Indiana and moved to Shelton, Buffalo County, Nebraska. Jasper Walker was an attorney in this area.

The only one listed for Barnard Cemetery in Putnam county is Otis Egbert Bartlett son of John F. and Mattie. Husband of Julia H. born Aug 20, 1820 died Mar 20, 1910. In a transcript of the entire cemetery made in 2001 no stone was found.
