This hobby is new for me, but it combines many of the activities that i love, family history research, hunting, exersizing, photography and occasionally some photoshop. I am a retired researcher in the biological field, but now am primarily a nature photographer. My favorite subjects range from flying cranes to flying ships, with an occasional red rock photo thrown in for good luck. I really enjoy taking photos of headstones in Northwestern Wisconsin.|

I just wanted to thank you for the photo of Allen Melvin's grave stone. He was a dear friend of mine for years, but we lost touch due to distance. I had no idea that he had passed away and I was shocked and saddened to learn of his death. If you know how he died, I would appreciate knowing.
