Bio Photo Greetings, and thank you for visiting my profile page. I would like to sincerely thank all of the contributors who provide so much valuable information for the memorials. We all agree the memorials are a work in progress. Find a Grave works so well because of the fantastic, dedicated contributors such as yourself. I receive a LOT of edits and additonal information. I try hard to handle my edits in a timely fashion. Sometimes I am unable to keep up with thanking each and everyone that provides edits and additonal information. For this I am sorry but I sincerely appreciate your hard work and hopefully together we are helping a lot of people with family searches and honoring our departed loved ones.
May God bless each of you.

I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of
South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Lloyd, Parnells, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

My Brother: Dantzler W. Watkins

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He haid been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Roy Bernard Curry burial
Hey Johnny,

Thank you for uploading an headstone picture for Roy Bernard Curry. He married my aunt Myrtle Mathis.

I requested an headstone photo request a few years back an the Cemetery office said he wasn't buried in that cemetery (Greenlawn Cemetery). I am happy you uploaded an headstone picture for his memorial.

So, I am correct that he his buried in Greenlawn Cemetery? Find A Grave Memorial# 104617051.

Could you take a look when you get an moment?

Karen Mathis Hudson

Thank you for your reply. And your explanation. There was no problem as far as the photo being there; I was just surprised and it looked so different, like there was marble around it. I apologize if my message seemed curt. It was not my intention at all. Thank you again for your kind answer.

I noticed you posted a picture of the monument at this grave site. It is quite different than the first photo. Can you please explain why? Thank you.

RE: Calvin Wadsworth
Not as far as I know. His line goes back to MI, IL, OH, NY and MA - Christopher, who came to Mass Bay Colony 1632. He's related to the Charles Sheer Wadsworth line of Madison, Fl.

Thank you for photographing this grave. My brother looked for it but couldn't find it many years ago and the cemetery has lost his records. Do you happen to remember where in the cemetery you were when this was taken? Thanks so much. Susan Kelley (
