RE: Susannah Martin Woody
How interesting. We are the same line for the first two generations, Henry and John Sparrell.

My 3rd great-grandfather was John Ely Woody, born 29 Oct 1798 in Virginia and died 26 July 1865 in Osage Co. Missouri. Find-a-Grave lists him at Pendleton Cemetery in Maries Co. but I really can't find any evidence that he's there.

My 2nd great-grandfather was John Harger Woody, born 5 Apr 1830 and died 17 June 1907 in Maries Co. Missouri. He is buried at Pendleton Cemetery.

My great-grandfather was Daniel Burd Woody, born 24 Jan 1852 in Maries Co and died 21 July 1902 in Maries Co. He is buried at Pendleton Cemetery.

His daughter was Bertha Irene Woody, my grandmother. She was born 4 Nov 1888 and died 2 Oct 1956, both in Maries Co., and is buried at Pendleton Cemetery.

My father was Marshall Marion Parker, born 28 Aug 1928 in Maries Co. and died 4 Jan 2003 in Cole Co. He is buried at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.

Then I'm also related to the Woody's on my mother's side. I haven't really dwelled on that side yet, but John Harger Woody is a 3rd great-grandparent, John Jefferson a 2nd, and Archie Woody a great-grandfather.

Thanks for getting in touch. You may be hearing from me in the future with questions!

I'm also a 5th great-grandchild of Henry Woody. I'm wondering if you have any information on his wife, Susannah. I would love to see her on Find A Grave. Since you show Henry as buried on private property, have you thought of adding her that way also?
