I was born Christina Noel Nelson in Centralia, WA in 1965. My parents Nile B. Nelson and Sandra L. Nelson (Sticklin). Owned and operated the "Sticklin" Greenwood Memorial Park cemetery at the time, my grandparents and great grandparents before them beginning in 1918 ... strange to some but the cemetery was home to me. My Great-Great Grandfather L.J. Sticklin was a pioneer who moved to the area in 1890, the Swedish cabinet maker who also made coffins (not uncommon at the time). 6 generations of Sticklin decendents are buried at Greenwood Memorial Park along with many others so I've started a support group on facebook to help with the cemeteries preservation. Volunteer events both past and future along with helpful information is posted online ... a link to this site is on my profile page along with an e-mail.|
This group exists to help family's in finding POSITIVE ways to ensure the care, upkeep and preservation of Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Thank you for transferring my grandmother to me.
|Carolyn Troupe Stoll||Carrie and Frank Tourtellot|
Thank you for the transfer.
|A.E. Duston||Florence A Bowen Tennant Mead|
Thanks much for this transfer. It was a pleasant surprise. I've enjoyed the challenge of knitting this family back together (I'm related through the Tennants). Your help is much appreciated
Thank you for the heads up, but I had already seen
the message on the website.
I will be there on the 13th along with my son and
we will as much as we can possibly do (I cannot stand very long but will bring a chair to move with me). I have 5 graves there; Michael, Dean, Daryl,
Eva and Everett Whitcomb that I will attend to also.
I will also try to get one other relative and my brother to come....no promises.
Thank you for all your help with the cemetery.
You're welcome. I checked today and the one marker is definalty sitting next to the building and not by the vault as it had been in the past.

Hello Christina, I was wondering if you could tell me if Delbert's wife, Wilma is still living or is she interred in the Stickler cemetery as well. They lived in Centralia. Her 3G Grandfather and my 3G grandfather were brothers. Thanks in advance. 47336229
