Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired teacher and Federal agent. Interests include genealogy, history and travel. I sometimes visit old cemeteries and take photos of all the gravestones there. If there is not a findagrave memorial, I create one based on the tombstone. ANY relative or family member, friend or interested person is more than welcome to request transfer of these memorials.

PET PEEVE: Find A Grave "number" collectors who have no interest in genealogy or family links and refuse to transfer to relatives unless they meet so-called "findagrave guidelines". You know who you are - shame on you!

RE: Clifford J. Womack
Thank you Kyle for getting the picture for me. There was two cemetery photos posted because a lady had went out there for me but the headstone had not been posted yet, and she just copy and pasted the cometary photo to reply to me stating the headstone was being order but not there yet. I appreciate you taking the time to go out there for me to take the headstone picture!

Yes I will since you have taken a picture. I didn't know that the memorial was transferred to me. Are you related?

Hi Kyle
LOVE YOUR PROFILE. I also love genealogy and although I know this is "Find A Grave" and have been told by several members that it is not a genealogy site for us to build our family trees but instead a site for documenting were individuals are buried, I think we can use it for both.

Duplicates are one of my pet peeves and 99% of the time they're created by accident so I just send courtesy messages to make them aware of the duplicate.

I recently sent a man a duplicate courtesy message and if you take a look at my public messages you'll see what he sent me back.

Probably 90% of the time when you see someone has their public message feature turned off and no e-mail address listed they were the kids we seen sitting alone at the playground because they were unable to get along with the other children. :-)

After that gentleman sent me that rude message I got another one and in both cases the messages I sent were courtesy and polite and they were able to completely twist and turn what I said into something totally different.

For the most part the Find A Grave community is very friendly, but there are always those few.

Hope your week is going good.

Sincerely,

Terri
