My mom has been doing family genealogy since the early 70's and her stories about the families have always been interesting. Now, together we are still searching and enjoying our new finds.|
I have finished mapping the Blackwell Cemetery and have all the pictures uploaded. There are a few I can't find.
I have all the pictures of the Shep Cemetery and have gotten them uploaded with the exceptions of about 7 that I missed or didn't find.
I finished the Fort Chadbourne Town Cemetery (not the same as the Fort Cemetery). I got some information from family members of the original caretakers and they have found more graves and are cleaning it up!
My plans are to map the Nolan Cemetery and Slater Chapel Cemetery when I finish these others.
My wonderful husband has been very supportive of all the time I spend doing what I enjoy, and gets involved in helping to get what pictures and information I need.

Hello, we were wondering if you would allow us to use your picture in our family tree? Thanks for considering it.

Gale, I will be happy to transfer your brother.
However, in the future for the good of all concerned, please use the SAC link with the memorial when requesting a change. Just click on the edit button that each memorial has. The improved edit function makes adding relationship links, correcting , adding information and transferring easier than ever. The edit function is now so much easier than messaging, please use it.

Thank you for adding his memorial gravestone photo, may I add it on Ancestry.com with credit to you? His father was my great uncle (Joe A Smith) by marriage and we have a lot of my Gray family buried in Blackwell. I would like to get as many of their gravestone photos for a family book as I am able to get. I live in Odessa, but don't get that direction very easily! Your help is appreciated! Lynda Fowler

You are right about the mother's name that could be George--my name is actually Johanna(pronounced John Anna) and all of life my family has called me John. When my nephew got married(40 yrs ago) he told his wife they would have to make a trip to see his aunt John. She said,"Don't you mean your uncle John?"Thanks for correcting the memorial.John

Delete your later duplicate (which should not have been created) and I will consider your request.
