THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated, deaths are recorded, families are reunited, memories are made tangible and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life; not death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of people,
a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering, always.

|Karl Hartronft||RE: Hello,|
Not sure why I didn't put that picture on that memorial when I put his parents on there, as they are close together. For some reason I had these pictures from May 2013 but missed posting this one. It's there now. I'd be glad to send you the original resolution versions if you want them.
I live in Dallas but my parents live in Erie, near Louisville, and my brother lives in Louisville. I was out there taking care of my step-father for about 6 weeks while my mom was in the hospital and had some time to explore. The Louisville cemetery was just down the road from the hospital mom was in.

I did not post the photo to memorial (82037792) so I have no authority to transfer it or repost it. You might contact the photographer Karl Hartronft (46992368)
I deleted my memorial 82037792 and submitted a suggestion for you to link his family to your memorial.
Sorry about the duplicate.
|Jane A||RE: Hello Jane|
Thank you for adding that to the Reynolds memorial. It was kind of you and I appreciate it.

|Mike Lawson||RE: again|
Mike was born in Huntington W.V. Due to his fathers alergy problems his family moved to Broomfield when he was around 3 or 4 years old. Mike was married and divorced 2 times and lived in Arvada while we built his house in Coal Creek Canyon. He lived there for a few years untill he got tired of driving in the mountains in the winter. He then moved back to Arvada untill he lost that house in a divorce. He bought a condo in Arvada and lived there untill his death in 1999. Mike
|Mike Lawson||RE: hello|
Hello Yes this is the Larry Michael Ward that went to Broomfield High. Mike was my brother-in-law so I knew him well. If there is anything else you would like to know please feel free to ask.
No, don't know the family. Yes, we have some people in common-you sponsored my Great-Aunt Viola.

|Michael Barksdale||Herman Schimpfky|
I am not a relative of Herman. I am a Civil War enthusiast and researcher. Since joining Find A Grave and having done most of my relatives, I started creating memorials to Civil War Union Veterans and providing as much biographical information as I could find.
I have transferred his memorial to you as his closest known relative. I had place a photo on his memorial of the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Monument in Chicago, which had a beautiful statue of a Union Infantryman on it. I did this as a tribute to Herman's service; however, the authorities at Find-A-Grave deleted it, stating "photos of distant statuary are not allowed". So much for honoring veterans!
All the Best to You and your research....Mike
