I have been interested in family history for as long as I can remember. I have found so much family information through the contributions of the Find a Grave family. There have been Simpson's from my line in Texas since 1852. Family names are Simpson, Wilkerson, Blackshear, Johnson, Keller, Coffman, Cato, Lewis, McMennamy, Blair and Williams.|
If I have added a family member, please ask for a transfer. I would rather folks be with family.
Thanks everyone for all the information that you email to me. I post these corrections and additions. Please forgive me for not responding by email to each one of you. I get numerous post each day and I am unable to respond to everyone.

No, I didn't see a separate stone for Mary--only the stone inscribed "Children of . . ."Sorry about the quality of the stones. I didn't get to that cemetery until almost dusk.

Sorry Bear Springs Cemetery is off 2526 and 325 by Carlton Lake. A portion of the cemetery was donated by Bob Carlton.

I am hoping you can clarify something for me. You have pictures of the historical marker for Ellison Family Cemetery on the Bear Springs Cemetery findagrave web page. Is the marker really at the Ellison Cemetery outside Gorman off Hwy 8 & FM 422 or is it at Bear Creek Cemetery off Hwy 8 east of Carbon?
