I am a resident of Rhode Island. My career for 40+ years has been learning, training, teaching and judging "Dressage" horses. |
For the past 10+ years I have also been totally fascinated with a genealogy project.
I also love playing Scrabble, stunt kite flying, boating, traveling, cooking and interior decorating and spent 4 years studying the craft of acting (theatre).
I have recently graduated with an Assoc. of Science degree in Culinary Arts!
Thank you to all those who visit my interments and put notes and flowers on. I really do appreciate your thoughts and attention. Certainly any additions, corrections or questions you might have about my "interments", please let me know.

I adore our veterans. They gave of themselves during times of conflict, and they continue after their service is over. God Bless them all!!
Having the paperwork started to have a new gravestone is, in my mind, above and beyond the call of duty.

Just checked and found that the site created by superkentman has been merged with yours. Yeah!!

No, unfortunately, I don't have additional information about Andrew Bleakley... just his inscription. But, it sure looks like the same guy, and I don't know in which cemetery he is buried. A lot of people were moved out of Forest Park Cemetery, and his family may have moved him to Oakwood. On the other hand, there may just be a memorial at Oakwood and he's buried in Forest Park. Guess it would help to know where his family is buried. I put a note on my memorial, referencing your memorial. I've found quite a few duplicate stones for military people, usually in the same cemetery, but occasionally in different cemeteries. Do you know if Andrew Bleakley has a stone at Oakwood?

You sent me these details in a message way back in 2009, and I JUST figured out how to transfer them to you. I thought you deserved them since you knew way more about these folks than me :)
Her parents were: Mary L. & John Black. She died of 'old age' at 82 years & 10 months.

You're very welcome. :)
|Diana ||RE: 2 Lydia Tillinghast memorials?|
I'll give you several options to find it.
The other memorial #21740380 is also in the Kickemuit Cemetery. If you search the cemetery it is under the name Lydia Tabor Mason. Samuel Mason was her 2nd husband. I was researching my Mason relatives when I noticed the double memorials for Lydia.
Another way to find it is that you can copy and paste http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=21740380
The easiest way for you to find it may be to go to the memorial page you have created for Rev Pardon Tillinghast. You can click on Lydia Tabor Mason under spouses.
For future reference, when you are looking at a memorial page on the left side under actions you can click on begin a new search. When the search form comes up there is a place to put memorial#
I hope this information helps,
