I am the manager of Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky. I have been affiliated with the cemetery for 20+ years and have been manager for the past 13 years. The cemetery dates back to 1857. I have paper records dated mid 1938 to present and in the process of cross referencing and computerizing them. Our website is www.mtkenton.com

I enjoy genealogy work and walking through cemeteries reading the history that can be found on tombstones.

As well as Find a Grave, I am also a member of Ancestry.com, Heritage.com and genarchives.com. I am willing to help anyone with genealogy research.

RE: Roper photos
Elaine,

I have had some health problems and am just now finding your offer of tombstone photos. I would love to have them and will enter them on Findagrave if they have not already been posted.

Chad Joyce
Hi Elaine,

Thanks so much for getting the picture of my Mom's cousin Chad Joyce's stone. I never knew him in life and have never seen his stone and I am glad to finally be able to.

I heard about Chad accident when I was growing up. )I am only three years younger than Chad would have been today had he lived) and I am friendly with Chad;s half sister Vickie (also my Mom's cousin) and I know she will appreciate the picture as well.

Also, thanks for taking the picture of Milton Gore. This is Chad's maternal grandfather. When I saw you had done that I made a memorial for Milton as well. It really helps.

Thanks a bunch and have a wonderful weekend!~

Walter Larson's tombstone
Hi Elaine.

Thank you so much for taking a photo of my great uncle Walter and great aunt Elizabeth Larson's tombstone. Walter was the last sibling of my grandmother to pass away.
