Don't forget to THANK your friendly FAG volunteers today!!! A little "Thank You" goes a long way. ;-)

***please... if you are going to REQUEST a transfer of memorials from me.... When you message me *using edit/corrections* tab, please include an email address that I can use to communicate with you. If you do not, then I will most likely IGNORE your request. I do and will transfer memorials following FAG guidelines. If you send me an email that says, "I'd like this memorial. He/she is a relative of mine"... then I do not have to transfer it to you.... If I cannot communicate with you, you will not know WHY you are not getting the transfer. ***

I becamed interested in FAG when doing genealogy research for my husband's family. I continue to be active (as much as I can), so that I may help others that are searching for or researching their family's history.

I try to do my work the "hard way". By going to the cemeteries and LOOKING at the stones, not just reading them off a list that someone else transcribed YEARS ago, as I find that data can be very wrong. From wrong names to wrong dates. In 90% (or more) of the cases, if I made the memorials, I have the photo!! I try my best not to make memorials unless I have corresponding photos. Unfortunately, since I like to visit smaller, older cemeteries, that is not always possible. If I am taking many photos at a particular cemetery and can find a previous reading that contains names to which I do not have photos for, I will add memorials for them to try to complete that cemetery's listing.

I may not have uploaded the photo for the corresponding memorial yet. If you see a memorial without a photo and want to know if I have the photo, please email me. I tried to make memorials FIRST, Edit photos for uploading SECOND, and upload photos LAST. PHOTO REQUESTS DO GET PRIORITY. If you request the photo, I can generally have it up in 24 hours, barring illness, injury, or vacation. ;-)

I LOVE obtaining photo requests. I am more likely to look at your request if you have a plot location, if available. If you take that extra step, I will go out of my way to get your photo.

I am willing to transfer memorials to family members based on FAG guidelines.

Please use the EDIT tab for corrections/additions/etc.

I also keep all my photos on file and am willing to email originals to direct descendants... just email me with the appropriate information or use the edit tab to send me a message. (just please remember to give me credit when using the photo).

Good luck researching!
