Sally's headstone is in need of restoration. I am a gravestone conservator fully trained and certified in working with historic gravestones. Let me know if you would like a free estimate to restore this stone.

I think you could say that these are the two that you were looking for, since the names are so close and dates of death are the same. Many times headstones have the names slightly different that what they actually are - Such as Rosa for Rosaline. I am not related to them. My husband and I are just trying to build the cemeteries for Custer County on findagrave.

RE: Lotze family of Cincinnati
sorry. I get in a groove on changes and I think everyone wants changes.
I do not have the two people mentioned in Spring Grove Cemetery. I tried both Evangelical Lutheran Cemeteries in Cincinnati , Walnut Hills Cemetery and Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Now Walnut Hills has their burial records online so I'm fairly certain that your relatives aren't there. Vine STreet Hill is another matter. Findagrave only has what has been input. I can not be certain they are not there but Findagrave doesn't have them. You might want to get in contact with them.

Phone: (513) 281-1035) They don't have a website. I tried St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (actually all cemeteries in the Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Association) and St. Joseph New Cemetery but there isn't even a Lotze buried there (records are online).

I wish I could be of more help. Findagrave doesn't have them which simply means they haven't been entered in Findagrave.

Now, there were many German immigrants who settled in Reading, OH.

There is also First German Protestant Evangelical Cemetery Avondale (Hamilton County)

If they were Catholic that opens up a different set of cemeteries.

Let me know if I can be of more help.

Actually I am a caretaker of the autogravr records that resulted from the autogravr program fiasco. If you wish changes please use the EDIT tab on each record to send changes to me. That way I get a complete audit trail and all the rec id's I need.
Thanks so much.

RE: Levi & Jabez Custis
Hi John!
Levi and Jabez Custis are both my 1st cousins 4 times removed, by way of their mother, Melissa Jemima Bennet. She is my 3rd great-grandaunt, being a descendant of Nikolaus Hirzel (1404-1446) my 14th great-grandfather.
I am currently working with my local family file to restore it from back-up data DVD's and online file (bailey42) at rootsweb, but the section containing the Custis family is intact.
About a week ago my 5 year old computer power supply went out and the new computer has not arrived yet. Athalon systems are not compatible with this old Compaq or I would just switch hard drives. I do miss the old 4ghz cpu! This Compaq is slowwww.
P.S. How was London?
Robert
