To the many friends that Mary Ann made through find a grave, I thank each and every one of you for your kindness to my Sweet wife. She lost her battel with Cancer at 9:46 A M Feb 9, 2013 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

I have been doing genealogy since 1988. I am 69, retired, live in Anniston, Al. I was born and raised at Jacksonville (Bonny Brook, White's Gap and J'ville.) Alabama. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter, 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons and they are GREAT!!! I am able to cover not only Calhoun Co. but also surrounding counties: Cleburne, Cherokee, and Talladega, Co. My husband is retired also. This is our pasttime. My family connections are Gay/Brown, Clay/Bonds, Zeigler/Baggett, and Mayes/Fair. My husband's family names are Prior/Ferguson, Fondren, Scarbrough, Atchley and Teal.

I have taken parts of many cemeteries in Cleburne, Cherokee and Calhoun Counties and some of the smaller cemeteries I have taken photos of all the markers in them but I have not had time to post all my photos on f a g. We have made several trips to Chester, Union & Fairfield co., S.C. and done extensive cemetery surveys in Chester co., S.C. as my husband's Fergusons came here from there. We gladly share what we found from there.

If I have posted a memorial for someone and did not add the dates yet, I will get to them because I don't add a memorial unless I have taken the photo and have the info for it but just have to have time to finish the project. Please bear w/me as I try to finish these cemeteries. If I have made an error on a memorial I will gladly correct it. If I have added a memorial for one of your close family members, I will gladly transfer it to you and I would appreciate the same w/transfering any of my family members to me. HAPPY HUNTING!

I have recently had the experience of losing my baby girl (tho she was 44 on Oct. 7, 2011) and only daughter to being murdered. I am sooooo crazy from this shocking incident and may make mistakes on fag and please forgive me for those things as I am trying to keep my mind occupied but I am not having much luck at that. No one should ever have the experience of burying one of their children. I had 1 daughter and 2 sons--- now our baby girl is forever gone due to some evil people. I am in such pain, it is undescribable. Please pray for our families as we live thru this unbearable time. I buried my mama in January and now have this to live with.

I am currently taking chemo for lung cancer and have long periods of being sick from it. If I don't get right to some of your corrections and family connections, etc., please understand.

If you will call them for your family photo request, they will give the locations to family and you can relay the locations to me as I have the maps for each garden and lot numbers.
