Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am documenting the small family cemeteries in the York County, Pa. area as I research my wife's family geneology.

I will complete photo requests during my research, and when I travel to the central North Carolina coast.

Please feel free to use any of my photos for geneology purposes. I will gladly transfer memorials if they are in your direct family line.

White and Reinecker
Thank you so much for the pictures of the grave markers of my grandparents, Mildred C. and John E. White, and Mildred's sister, Iona Ruth Reinecker. Living in California, I have no idea when, if ever, I will be able to visit Pennsylvania again. I haven't been there since 1983. I appreciate immensely your time and efforts to get the pictures on for me. THANK YOU!!!

You posted a cemetery photo on my Grandfather's grave site. Are you related?

Thank you for the headstone photos for my cousin. I wasn't sure if his wife Mary was buried with him, but your photo shows that she was. I have now set her up in findagrave and was hoping that you would be willing to add the same headstone photos to Mary. She is Mary Ann McCormick Ewing #140299622.

Thank you very much!

RE: George William Gwynn
Yes, I have his wife's documentation too. Seems like GW fell out of the sky! His death certificate indicated his mother's name but had "don't know" Gwynn as the father's name. That's as much as I've been able to discover on the male line. Even his wife's family is elusive as is where they were married.

I think Find A Grave is a great tool in finding relations!

George William Gwynn
I've been researching my great grandfather William George Gwynn of Shamokin, Pa, father of George William.

I'm stuck on where to find info on William George Gwynn's father. Do you have any info that could help? Here is my research so far:

WILLIAM GEORGE GWYNN aka William FRANCIS Gwynn in the Shamokin City Directories was b. ca 17 July 1844, 1848 or 1849 according to what record you believe. His obituary states he d. 24 September 1926 after living 82 years, 2 months and 7 days which puts his birth year at 1843. The 1880 Census states he was age 30 when the census was taken, which would give him a birth year of 1849. The 1900 Census agrees that he was born July 1849.

Farrow’s Funeral Home records say he was b. in Shamokin. The 1880 Census verifies he was b. in Pennsylvania. No evidence has been found in any source that verifies his birth or who his father was. A will for a George Gwynn is in file 795, book 20, page 73, filed March 2, 1927.
