When I was young my aunt, Marie R GAGEN, planted a seed. She kept the family tree and every time my family visited the tree was discussed. As I got older I continued the tree and research. It was the main reason for my 1st NEC computer and genealogy program, ROOTS.|
My primary family names are: LEINDECKER/LEYENDECKER, GAGEN, KARL, ANSBERRY, BROGAN, PODANY and HOOVER.
My wife's primary names are: PAUL, POTTER, PATE, BURKE and VOLIVA.

Thank you, I am thinking her ashes were just buried there without knowledge, Mettie didn't have much for a family, just half siblings and cousins. She was never married or had children. So her where abouts could be completely unknown.
But I do appreciate you checking for me.

Thanks for the names of Lizzie Morris' parents. I was able to find the family in the census and make several connections based on your information. It appears 'Odessa' was really 'Desear' who was usually listed as 'Dess'. How often does that happen? Too often! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to let me know.
Thanks so much for finding and photographing Robert Eubank's grave.
Thanks you so very much for the photo of Major and Annie's tombstone.
Ruth Ann - oh yes, I've known her and her husband Bob for many years (i believe since the late 1970s). I also know their son Bill. Bill used to run the local funeral home with his then wife, Karen, but now does computer repair out of his home and still likes to scuba dive. Pete (actually John) used to be a Park superintendent - believe he's retired now. Do not know the son James at all.
Ruth Ann used to be on the Historical Society board of directors but gave that up due to wintering in Florida.
Not promissing to do it the next week , but send me the details and I see what I can do , when I go that way ....

I am not related. If you have any records you would like transferred, please list them with their Find A Grave numbers. Thank you!
Re: Are you related to the PAUL Family of Bonifay, FL? They are part of my wife's (Vivian PAUL) family.

I really had no way of knowing who the parents were. The people that could tell me those things have passed away. I appreciate your input!
