Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired professional aerial photographer, and served the federal government as an aviation inspector, retiring in 2003. In legal terms, photographs are copyright protected, but this bio is your authority to use my Find-a-grave photos to share with family and use for purposes of genealogy without compensation.
For transfers, I try to follow the guidelines established by Find-a-grave. That is parent, grandparent and great, great grandparent. and child, grandchild and great, great grandchild. If you request a transfer, you need to identify your relation to the deceased
I am really enjoying working with Find-a-grave doing photo request for this area. I also plan to travel frequently walking cemeteries around the country fulfilling photo request in areas where nobody is doing it.

Find A Grave Memorial #8604569 - Edna Thompson Desadier
Mr. Manning:

I am not certain if I should contact you or "Herald" for Find A Grave Memorial #8604569. However,Mrs. Edna Desadier's maiden name is THOMASON rather than Thompson. Therefore, her parents' names as listed in the Find A Grave Memorial are incorrect, as are her siblings' names.

Parents are:
Bluford "Blu" Hancock THOMASON and Susie Ellen DENNISON Thomason Geter.

Siblings' are:
Frank Amaziah THOMASON (1900-1965)
Edna Lillian THOMASON Desadier (1903-1985)
Lenora Mae THOMASON Garcia (1906-1971)
John Calvin "J.C." THOMASON (1911-1975)
Ruthie Belle THOMASON Wilkerson (1914-1991)
Milton Willie "Buddy" THOMASON (1917-1965)
Hubert Leo "Red" THOMASON (1920-1981)
Julius A. Geter (1929-1987)*

*Half-brother

Spouse and Children listed are correct.

Thanks!

Asking Permission
Dear Mr Manning,
You do an awesome job of managing all these memorials. It's amazing how you keep up with all of them. My family appreciates your devotion. I am asking if you would consider transferring a few of my relatives memorials over to me.
They are as follows:
Irene Johnson Strother 7261730 (my mother).
Missouri Doyle Johnson 7269271 (my grandmother). Hadley "Blackie" Johnson 7272637 (my uncle). Again we appreciate all the work you do on these memorials.
Sincerely,
Shirley

Thank you Lee for taking so much time to take photos in the cemeteries in Beauregard Parish. It is much appreciated as it helps verify information for relatives and ancestors.

MARY REEVES GRIFFIN
Lee, thanks for the detective work to determine the site of Mary Griffin's burial without a headstone. I am sure you had to go above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks for your time and effort. Have a great day.
