Lived in eastern Monmouth County all my life. Been researching my family for over 40 years. I will transfer family members as per F-A-G rules, all you need to do is ask. I will add to it if you like.|

Hi, I misread your first response and thought you were referring to the Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum!
I have been researching my family and believe that the picture of the headstone you have taken is the stone for my 3rd great-aunt. She was the daughter of my 3rd great-grandfather, John W. Bennett, b. 1774 d. 1862. His 2nd wife was Elizabeth Van Mater Bennett, b. 1778 d. 1860. Among other children, they had a daughter whose name has been spelled various ways: Alchy, Aaltje, Aeltje, Alche, Anne, etc.
I was at the Old Holmdel Yard earlier today and was not able to find the stone but I believe that I found John W. Bennett's stone. I have to transfer the pictures to my computer so I can enlarge them to be certain. I went there with the knowledge that he was supposed to be buried there based upon my research. There were a lot of Bennett's there and I'm really glad to have found that cemetery!
I also found Find A Grave Memorial #59323342 by Thom Healy from Sept. 28, 2010 for Alchy Bennett Conover. Her husband was Isaac J. Conover, b. 1778, d. 1860.
Would it be possible for you to e-mail me a copy of the picture you took so that I can compare it to the pictures I took? As you mentioned the stones are very difficult to read due to their age.
I would appreciate any help/info you can provide me.

I saw this post: Alcha Bennett
I took a photo of the stone tried my best to read it it is so worn that it was impossible to see the husband's last name or the year of death

I am very interested in knowing where that stone is and if you can provide me with any information. I am interested in the Bennett's from the Colts Neck Holmdel, Middletown, Red Bank, Atlantic/Monmouth County NJ areas.
Thank you for taking the time to locate and photograph Ted Johnston's grave marker for me. Interesting marker, as obviously he was a big sports fan. Our family really appreciates it.

Thanks so much! Photo not necessary. I will remove the duplicate photo. You will see on his ground military marker, it is Conner and the stone that his mother put there is Connor: his original name. After marriage, they only used Conner: he adopted the name Carl Conner in the military.
Thank you so much...

God bless you,

Yes please. Must have gotten the numbers mixed up. The original number I gave you was from her brother from her father's second wife. Still do not know the location of her father.
