Hunter family, being so many of them is really hard to research and be sure of. The stone with Elizabeth (Betsy) Hunter who died in 1900 was my g-g-grandmother, and she was married William Cotnam. She also had a sister Sarah Jane Hunter who first married a McAtee, between 1860-1870 he died and she married a Jacobs. They were both still alive in 1900 census and in Crawford Co., Ark. Sarah Jane Hunter is listed in 1850 census living with her parents, Nicholas Hunter in Seaver Co., Ark. Sarah Jane's daughter Harriet (Hattie) E. McAtee married John Wilson Hogan. Would you write me at I do know some of that family. As we are connect on Hunter and Hogan side of family,

Most of the cemetery lists I used did not provide much info about their sources. Those few that did indicated that they were a combination of readings of the markers, cemetery records, and occasionally more detail from obituaries.

Sorry I can't be of any help concerning the source of Marie's info.

RE: Kiszar Burton #12622978
Kiszar was married to Riley F Burton. His headstone is also in the same cemetery, however, he has a military headstone with no dates and only his initials for his first and middle name. I just added his headstone photo. There are a lot of Burtons in this cemetery, to include their sons Dan W. Burton and Doial Burton.

Nathan Sharach Dennis

I suspect the message you left for Ms. Blatherwick regarding Nathan Shadrach Dennis may have been for me via Legacy Tree. I can see you are experiencing the many brick walls I have encountered over the years. My fingers are crossed that you are more successful than I have been. It is almost as if he magically appeared with Samuel Dunning in the 1850 census.
