I am an amateur Civil War historian.I live in SE Minnesota and I have walked thru aprox 750 cemeteries in Southern Minnesota , Western Wisconsin and Northern Iowa looking for Civil War Veteran burial sites. As of Aug 2012 I have personally located, identified and visited aprx 6600 Union Civil War Veterans burial sites.
