Julie Karen Hancock (Cooper) Jackson (#24420413)

Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am now only transferring memorials following the guidelines of the Findagrave website due to the growing misunderstanding of what Findagrave is about by those discovering the site for the first time. The time members have put into their efforts working together and sharing information compiling an historical record - not a genealogical one - is not up for grabs based on same-name surname or lineage and I will not do any of these type of transfers. I will continue to transfer memorials within Findagrave guidelines.

FROM THE FAQS:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Bulk surname requests should not be made.

Duplicates are frowned upon. DO NOT make duplicate memorials.

NOTE: I am now transferring my memorials to RELATIVES. PLEASE do not just want them, give the family no matter HOW distant they are the first chance to have editing rights to the memorials that are of their family. Thank you.

PLEASE use the Suggest A Correction for EACH memorial. Please do not compile an e-mail or "Suggest a Correction" request with several memorial requests. I am not able to search for each memorial. When you use the "Suggest A Correction" link it sends the link to the memorial along with the request.

I will make changes and add bio's to any of the memorials that I have added to the website. If you send a change of dates please site your reference. I do corrections as time allows. You need only send a correction one time. Please remember, it is "Suggest A Correction", Not "Demand A Correction". I, along with many other people do not live on Findagrave. I realize the suggested amount of time for corrections to be made is one month, however, at times my schedule does not allow for this time frame. Rest assured, the corrections will be made. If for some reason you doubt the correction made it to me as it may have been caught up in the waves of the internet and you feel the need to send a follow up e-mail, please remember that kind words with a simple question such as "Did you receive the request" is much preferred to a rude e-mail.

I do love Findagrave and have every intention of always maintaining my contributions, but I also have a very active "real" life. There are also other challenges that I face each day that I don't feel the need to explain to strangers that are upset that don't think I am quick enough making changes for them on the internet. Please be patient.

If you need to contact me with other questions about memorials please add the topic of Findagrave in the Subject Line. Please add the memorial number on all of your requests. Thank you.

Thanks Julie for your thoughtfullness. I did not add the obits for his parents, the credit should go to "DSM", I just added information after they trans. to me. I try to do my duty, (as a former Girl Scout) ;), to help out where I can. I also want to take this opp. to thank you as well, for all your hard work, including pictures. I may need to contact you about some other Caldwell's, etc.
Thanks again, for your update.

Hello Julie,
Just wanted to let you know that Dee Dee Ramone died of a heroin overdose and not of prostate cancer, that was Joey Ramone.
Thank you.

Hi, I noticed that you have taken photos at Mill Springs Baptist Cemetery. I would very much appreciate a photo of Mary Margaret Ponder's (# 69865005) headstone, if it still exists. The dates would be 1812-1845. Her husband's, Ransom's, headstone still appears to be in good condition.
Best to you,
Lana Davis

Hi Julie, I've added the tombstone to: Find A Grave Memorial# 10362473 for Mike Alford. I've also added a note in the add a flower section. There's the complete birth & death dates and additional information if you want to add to this memorial. Thanks for being a volunteer.
