In the last few years, I have been creating memorials for my family, as I discover where they are buried. This is still an on going project.|
Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.
To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.
Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!
Requesting a transfer other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.
Recently (Aug 2011), I transcribed The Bay City IOOF Cemetery. I have created a spreadsheet of this Cemetery, taken photos of all of the headstones and put this information on FindaGrave. I have tried to research something about the person and link them with their family members.
I have completed photographing all of the headstones at the Fairview Pioneer Cemetery. I have also received from the Tillamook Pioneer Museum a listing of all of the graves that are in This Cemetery, along with a map. It is quite a small cemetery and it is quite overgrown, there are not many headstones left that are readable.
My next goal is to transcribe the cemetery at the Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens. Thank you to everyone who helps me out on this journey.

I believe you uploaded the wrong photo to Memorial ID 51924429 for Lillian Alspach. If so, please delete it.

I was traveling through Tillamook last month and stopped by the cemetery and found Effie's headstone. Thank you for your time and help. Bill

Thank you for letting me know she doesn't have a marker - I appreciate it! :)Jessica

Thanks again for all you do Cindy.

Thank you for trying to find his marker. Did you place the flower on the no marker picture? Looking at his wife Elizabeth's stone, there is plenty of room for Charles. It looks like he was suppose to be on the marker with her because of the room below her name. It never got engraved.

Thank you for updating Elizabeth Spencer Wridge's Memorial (# 78338502)

You are welcome very much.
Nope not related.
I looked around and I don't see anything about Pearl Smith. Looks like she did a disappearing act on you. Maybe she remarried before she died.
|Bette Hartman||Dea, John Newton Parmenter|
I have not entered the birth information you provided for Deacon John because I could not find a source giving his birthplace as Rhode Island. I did find a reference to him being christened in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts on 19 August 1742. I would be glad to include your information if you can verify with a source.

I got your pics today for Minnie Grady. Interesting that there are no dates on her gravestone.
