Reasor Cemetery
The Reasor Cemetery with 18 tributes is North of 620 or Hen Reasor Road. All have stone photographed and the Cemetery is only accessible by 4 wheel drive. No mailing address, don't accept deliveries, I did not create the map but it is close to where the cemetery is located.

RE: Lightner Cem. or Kinzer Cem.
That's very interesting. When I was there last year I only recall seeing 3 standing readable stones. I had to go through a lot of brush to get to the cemetery. I do recall seeing a bunch of other stones.

The bio came from the Dickson County Herald. It could have been a typo on their end of things.

RE: Old Orchard Cem.
Lynn, Thanks for your kind words. Out of curiosity, what individual are you working on? I am in Petersburg frequently and I can take a look.

RE: Orchid Cem.
I am from Lincoln Co and have done considerable work in documenting the cemeteries in the county, and I have never seen an Orchid Cem referenced.

However, the old documents can contain some terrible spelling. Here is how I would judge it. If it shows Lincoln Co TN, and a Petersburg TN address, and particularily if the undertaker was Beasley, and it shows Orchid Cem, it is probably Old Orchard. Do any of the death Cert you reference, show a name that is shown on Find A Grave as being interred in Old Orchard?

Sometimes children are left out of the will. I forgot to add my source. Check memorial out now. Hope this helps.

RE: Mem 34420670
Update on my earlier reply. In looking at the captions attached to the photos, I can see why he attached the photos to Samuel Abel...

Photo is of headstone of William E. Abell. However, caption with the photos by Timothy Robinson provides the following information:

As I could read it:
To my beloved son,WILLIAM E. ABELL, He lost his life at the fire [Baltimore], 11th April 1857, in the 19th[?] year of his age.
I cannot make out what his mother had etched on the stone below that.
This is a cleaned up stone as I shoveled it out and swept it clean.

This is the primary readable stone for ABELL, William E.[killed at the Baltimore fire 1857]. Other's in this lot are: Sarah Abell; Thos. J.;Sarah E. Smith; Samuel Abell; Sarah E.Abell; & Samuel Abell.

I have no clue why the other member attache the photo of William to my record for Samuel. You might want to message him.
