|GrammyJan||Sarah Jane Baker Bean|
Was Baker her maiden name or the name of her first husband? Could her maiden name have been Hargis?
|Steve Trudgeon||RE: Mamie Holt - Photo Request|
I'm afraid not. I don't have any info on him other than a birth date.

Thank you for the photo. I really appreciate the favor.
|Sidney||Mamie Watson Sunset Memorial|
I'm sorry, but there are no other Watsons buried anywhere near Mamie. If her husband is buried at Sunset Memorial he must be in another section.

Hi - Thank you so much for posting the photos of Jude and his marker. Are you related to him too? He is my 2nd cousin, once time removed. Gloria Barnes
|Jan||Jude Chester Kaus|
Hi: There was just his death notice. I don't think that there was ever an obituary published. You might contact the mortuary for more information. I did find obituaries for his wife (who died in a car accident near LaPine); and for his mother and sister, Rita Montiel. I'm not related to this family. Good luck.

|Pamela Farley||RE: J. F. Hitchcock - Floyd Creek Cemetery, GA|
Thank you, thank you! Looking forward to meeting you. We will be driving in from Dallas so it is actually kind of on the way to Atlanta. Have a terrific weekend. You just made mine very happy.
|Pamela Farley||J. F. Hitchcock - Floyd Creek Cemetery, GA|
Back in 2011, you posted a photo of a flat stone with JFH etched on it with Hitchcock underneath, barely visible. You said it was flat on the ground an probably wound not be there much longer.
I believe this is my 2nd great grandfather, James Franklin Hitchcock who lived in Cave Springs and around Polk and Floyd County Georgia. He was born in 1815 and died sometime after 1870.
Is the stone still there? I will be in Georgia (Stone Mountain) in October and would like to visit the cemetery and perhaps find him.
Thanks for posting the photo.
|Frances Allen Titsworth||RE: Vada Kennedy|
Sorry, I did not know Vada. I photographed the cemetery and added memorials and photos for those who didn't have one already.

Hi.short term memory loss! Ok, I think the request went back to OPEN, as the time period for the photo expired for woman who had claimed it. I guess since I posted the grave picture, that didn't count, so it became available again. My mistake. Anyway, I took that picture from a public Family Tree on Ancestry.com,and as it's public, pictures can be downloaded. So go ahead, esp. as this is your family. There were other pictures there, but I only took this one for the Find A Grave memorial page. If you aren't paying for Ancestry, I will get you some pics and maybe connect you with the relative who made the family tree in the first place. The obit is one I took of the California Digital Newspaper Collection site...it's free. PS: I also posted the Sacramento Bee article about her brother Eugene shooting himself. Check out his page too.
